Inspirational Artists :: Twist and Weave

Combining his carpentry skills and love of nature, internationally acclaimed artist Patrick Dougherty uses sticks and saplings to weave monumental environmental sculptures. Both elegant and whimsical, these often site specific installations have been built all over the world. If you live in the Twin Cities I highly recommend going to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum where you can see one of his works...fittingly named the Uff Da Palace, (first pic below).
